Alicia has two properties I think. I am glad I stayed at this one. It was very clean, and quiet. Everything we needed was there. The shower is tiny but the water was hot and lasted. The bed is very large but a little hard for us; personal taste probably. The apartment seems very new. We would stay there again and it is a good value. A nice town to pass through also, it seems like a happy place.

Alicia met us at the restaurant we had stopped at for drinks to welcome us and give us the keys. Her son suggested some good places for dinner. Recommended if you are in town. We're a couple and stayed at Alicia's house for 2 nights while visiting the Monte Leon national park. We arrived on Christmas eve, when everything was already closed.
We brought all of our own food and were happy that the house was fully stocked and had everything we needed to cook and clean for 3 days. The house was comfortable and spacious for the 2 of us, but could also sleep 4 if needed. It was only a 10 min walk to the main street where all the shops and restaurants are and the town did not seem touristy at all.
Alicia was very quick to respond on WhatsApp to any questions we had and upon our arrival, showed us where everything was in the house. She clearly puts a lot of love into this house and we were very happy to stay here! Muy aconsejable. El barrio es muy pintoresco con casas nuevas de muy lindos colores de familias de trabajadores de la zona.
We highly recommend Dante's place. It is conveniently located near the city center and is super comfortable. Dante's place has all the amenities you'd want in a space. Dante provided us with some awesome travel tips and was super accommodating to our needs. We highly recommend this place to anyone staying in Santa Cruz for short or long stays. Convenient spot to Monte Leone NP. Stores and restaurants and bank. Excellent private WiFi. Very important to us as we plan on the fly.
